With a strong foundation in accounting and finance, backed by a B.S. degree and professional certifications as a Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) and Certified Government Auditing Professional (CGAP), Cam has built a career dedicated to auditing, grants management, and public financial oversight. Over the past decade, she has worked extensively in state and local government auditing, ensuring compliance, efficiency, and financial integrity in public programs. Cam’s expertise extends to grant management, where she has spent more than five years overseeing federal and state financial assistance programs. 

In addition to hands-on experience, Cam has also served as an instructor in grants management, specializing in federal financial assistance management for both federal agencies and recipients. Her passion for effective program administration is particularly evident in her role as an administrator for Housing and Urban Development (HUD) Community Planning and Development (CPD) programs, overseeing expenditures totaling $10.9 million. 

As an IDIS Administrator for an entitlement grantee, she has played a critical role in the development of Consolidated and Annual Action Plans, ensuring compliance with public notice requirements and guiding program policy implementation. Her work includes fund 

programming, financial management, accomplishment reporting, and the preparation and submission of the Consolidated Annual Performance and Evaluation Report (CAPER). With a keen eye for detail, a commitment to regulatory compliance, and a deep understanding of public sector financial management, Cam continues to drive efficient and effective oversight of government programs, ensuring responsible stewardship of public funds.
