Synopsis

Under this priority, 10 grants, one within each of the 10 HHS regions, will be funded as part of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) National Network. Applicants must propose a program of training, technical assistance, outreach, and research that lead to improved understanding by stakeholders of their rights and responsibilities under the ADA. The grants will have a 36-month project period, with three 12-month budget periods.

Eligible Applicants

Nonprofits that do not have a 501(c)(3) status with the IRS, other than institutions of higher education, Special district governments, State governments, Native American tribal organizations (other than Federally recognized tribal governments), Others (see text field entitled "Additional Information on Eligibility" for clarification), Small businesses, For profit organizations other than small businesses, Public and State controlled institutions of higher education, Private institutions of higher education, County governments, Nonprofits having a 501(c)(3) status with the IRS, other than institutions of higher education, City or township governments, Native American tribal governments (Federally recognized)

Additional Info on Eligibility:

States; public or private agencies, including for-profit agencies; public or private organizations, including for-profit organizations; IHEs; and Indian tribes and tribal organizations. Foreign entities are not eligible to compete for, or receive, awards made under this announcement. Faith-based and community organizations that meet the eligibility requirements are eligible to receive awards under this funding opportunity announcement.
