Synopsis

The TIP Office invites applications for projects that aim to combat human trafficking following the legislative framework laid out in the Trafficking Victims Protection Act, and subsequent reauthorizations, to prosecute traffickers, protect victims, and prevent trafficking. Projects should address human trafficking challenges, respond to the priorities articulated in the National Security Strategy, executive orders, the FY 2026-2030 State Department Agency Strategy, and country-specific recommendations in the annual Trafficking in Persons Report, and advance America First Foreign Policy priorities.

Additional Info on Eligibility: The following organizations are eligible to apply: · Not-for-profit organizations, including think tanks and civil society/non-governmental organizations · Public and private educational institutions · For-profit organizations · Public International Organizations · U.S. government agencies Applications submitted by for-profit entities may be subject to additional review following the panel selection process. Additionally, the Department of State prohibits profit to for-profit or commercial organizations under its assistance awards. Profit is defined as any amount in excess of allowable direct and indirect costs. The allowability of costs incurred by commercial organizations is determined in accordance with the provisions of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) at 48 CFR 30, Cost Accounting Standards Administration, and 48 CFR 31 Contract Cost Principles and Procedures.
